Every child with Cerebral Palsy deserves a safe home, love, care and dignity.

At SECHILD, we care for children with Cerebral Palsy—providing therapy, family support, and a home filled with hope.

Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral Palsy is the most common childhood disability—yet one of the most misunderstood in Nigeria. Many children with CP are hidden at home because of stigma, denied education, and left without therapy or care their families cannot afford.

At SECHILD, this mission is personal. Our founders had two children with CP and, when no place could care for them, they built one—not just for their family, but for others like them.

For over a decade, we’ve been where love meets need: giving children with CP therapy, care, dignity, and hope.

“We couldn’t find a place to care for our children with CP, so we started SECHILD. Today, it is home for many.”
Kawan, Founder of SECHILD

Tersoo was just a baby, barely a year old when his life was nearly taken from him.

Favour: Once Silent and Overlooked, Now Finding Her Voice and Place

I was introduced to SECHILD by another parent of a child with CP at a time when I was desperate for support. Since then, their care has brought so much relief to my family. Knowing my child is safe and well cared for has allowed me to return to work and support my household. SECHILD didn't just support my child; they gave me my life back.

Voices You Support...

My son has made remarkable progress since joining SECHILD. Today, he can take steps and hold things, achievements I once thought impossible. And all of this has been provided at no cost. I call on the government and other stakeholders to support SECHILD, because if these services were paid for, many of us could never afford them.”
